Program
The Trento Challenge is an open innovation initiative led by the Peruvian company Confecciones Trento S.A.C. and executed by the innovation agency Quintil Valley, with the support and funding of Pro Innovate Perú. Its goal is to identify innovative solutions to strategic challenges in the textile industry.
Through a scouting methodology and collaboration with startups and tech solution providers, the program seeks to optimize productivity and sustainability in the sector.
Challenge
Real-Time End-to-End Traceability
How might we integrate, digitize, and automate key processes across the production chain to generate data that enhances strategic, tactical, and operational decision-making — improving both sustainability and efficiency?
Waste Reduction in Cutting and Sewing
How might we reduce waste in cutting and sewing processes through emerging technologies that increase business profitability and reduce environmental impact?
3D Digitalization and Smart Costing
How might we digitalize the design and validation process of garments, enabling the customer to design and calculate costs within a 3D environment by modifying measurements, styles, colors, and materials, and knowing the associated costs of each design in real time?
Eligibility
- Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 or higher
- Strong focus on sustainability and efficiency
- At least one year of operations
- If based in Peru, must have a valid RUC (tax registration)
